Welcome to BORAGETECH ("BorageTech", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute an electronic contract under the provisions of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules framed thereunder. By accessing or using our website (boragetech.in) or any software tools, APIs, web applications, or digital services provided by BorageTech (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2 Our Services & Ecosystem

BorageTech engineers sovereign, zero-bloat digital utilities designed for high performance, personal privacy, and transparent pricing. Our ecosystem currently includes:

• BT QR Studio (qrstudio.boragetech.in): A professional QR code design studio supporting custom vector frames, dynamic link redirection, real-time scan analytics, and vector SVG/PNG exports.
• BT SplitBill (splitbill.boragetech.in): A private, offline-first group expense calculator and settlement ledger with zero mandatory login barriers.
• BT Energy Calculator (energy.boragetech.in): A utility savings and electrical tariff calculation tool for domestic and commercial appliances across India.
• ManageLinks: Smart curated link-in-bio and utility management directories.

3 Acceptable Use Policy & Zero Abuse Guarantee

You agree to use our Services solely for lawful purposes. You shall NOT:

• Use dynamic QR codes, short links, or web forms to redirect to phishing websites, malware distribution sites, scams, deceptive investment schemes, or explicit illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, DDoS, or breach the infrastructure of BorageTech or its third-party hosting partners (Google Cloud / Firebase).
• Engage in automated bulk abuse or unauthorized scraping that impacts service availability for other users.

Security Enforcement: BorageTech reserves the right to immediately terminate or disable any dynamic links, QR codes, or accounts found violating these provisions without prior notice or refund.

4 Commercial Subscriptions, Billing & GST Compliance

Certain services (such as BT QR Studio Pro and Business tiers) require a paid subscription or license fee:

5 Intellectual Property Rights

All original brand designs, logos, software algorithms, UI components, vector frame geometries, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of BORAGETECH. You retain full ownership of any content, logos, or URLs you upload to generate QR codes or documents through our platforms.

6 Data Privacy & DPDP Act 2023 Alignment

We operate under a strict privacy-first architecture. In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, we collect only necessary data for fulfilling service functions, never sell consumer data to third-party data brokers, and respect your rights as a Data Principal. 7 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BORAGETECH and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your access to or use of the Services.
